Day 8: Kula, Lavender, & Dairy Goats!

We’re headed upcountry…

First stop Kula Lodge for breakfast and a breathtaking view.

Second stop was the privately-owned Kula Botanical Garden. Below is a collage of an up-close look at a few of the flowers in the garden.

Next, we visited the Kula Country Farms to purchase some of their delicious strawberries – some of the best I’ve ever tasted!

From strawberries to lavender at the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm! What a beautiful farm – much more than lavender – flowers galore, birds, statues, and views.

The Surfing Goat Dairy was the next and final stop of the day. We took a short walking tour to learn about the farm and the goats and had a chance to sample some of the goat cheese that they make on the farm – delicious!

It was a good day in Maui; I’m grateful.  Mahalo!
